Want to learn pottery but don't know where to begin? This beginner-friendly crash course is designed to give you a solid foundation in both hand building and wheel throwing—no previous experience needed!

During 2 day the course, you'll learn:

• Essential pottery tools and how to use them

• Clay preparation and basic clay fundamentals

• Hand-building techniques and construction

• Wheel-throwing fundamentals

• Centering, opening, pulling, and shaping clay

• Trimming and finishing techniques

• An introduction to the pottery and firing process

You'll get hands-on experience with both major approaches to working with clay, along with an understanding of the tools, terminology, techniques, and fundamentals you'll need to continue your pottery journey.

By the end of the course, you'll leave with pieces of your own and, more importantly, a strong foundation for continuing to practice and create independently.
