Mad Mud Studios is changing the way we do pottery projects!

Instead of scheduling individual project classes on specific dates, our featured projects can now be booked by appointment.

Each month, we'll offer a new selection of pottery projects. Choose what you'd like to make, contact the studio, and schedule a time that works for you.

How It Works

1. Choose Your Project
Browse our current project menu and choose what you'd like to make.

2. Book Your Project
Contact Mad Mud Studios to schedule your project session. Projects must be booked at least one week in advance. This gives us time to prepare your materials and make sure everything you need is ready when you arrive.

3. Come Create!
We'll have your materials ready and provide the instruction and guidance you need to complete your project.

Project pricing includes the clay and materials needed for the project, instruction, glazing, and firing unless otherwise noted.

New Projects Every Month

Our project menu changes throughout the year, with seasonal pieces, functional pottery, sculptures, home décor, and other creative projects.

Projects are available for a limited time, so if you see something you'd like to make, be sure to reserve it before that month's project menu ends.

Important Booking Information

All project sessions require at least 7 days' advance booking.

Project availability is based on studio scheduling and space. Booking ahead allows us to prepare any clay, templates, forms, tools, or other materials needed specifically for your project.

Want to Learn Pottery?

Project sessions are designed around creating a particular piece. If you're interested in learning and developing pottery skills, Mad Mud Studios also offers pottery lessons by appointment, including hand-building and wheel throwing.

🎄 Christmas Tree Luminary — $35

Hand-build a ceramic Christmas tree luminary, complete with openings that allow the light to shine through.

✨ Christmas Ornaments — $25

Create your own set of handmade ceramic Christmas ornaments. Shape, texture, stamp, and personalize them for your own tree or to give as gifts.

🍂 Thanksgiving Serving Platter — $40

Create a handmade serving platter for your Thanksgiving table. Add fall textures, leaves, stamps, lettering, or your own decorative touches.

🦃 Turkey Sculpture — $30

Build your own ceramic turkey! Make it traditional, whimsical, silly, or completely unique.

🍁 Fall Leaf Bowl — $30

Create a functional bowl inspired by the textures and shapes of fall leaves.

🌲 Woodland Gnome — $30

Hand-build a whimsical woodland gnome with your own choice of hat, textures, details, and personality.

☕ Hand-Built Mug — $35

Build a functional ceramic mug from scratch and customize the shape, handle, texture, and decoration to make it completely your own.

🥣 Serving Bowl — $40

Create a handmade serving bowl for your table and customize it with textures, patterns, stamps, or decorative details.
